Hadas wants to stay in Ethiopia and does not want to migrate like most of her friends who are forced to go abroad to seek work to support their family.

Muluberhan – age 20

Muluberhan is a first-year student. He is from neighboring village. His father is an 80-year-old farmer. He is the youngest of seven children. Muluberhan is interested in IT. He is very frustrated that most of the donated computers at the school don’t even function. The electricity is not reliable, and the lack of materials makes going to school very discouraging. If he completes school successfully, he wants to be a teacher at the school. He does not want the future students to experience the struggles he is facing.
